Community care advice and casework

Birmingham Law Centre is a specialist-level provider of community-care advice on behalf of the Community Legal Service. We can offer:

Advice on any support available through Social Services if you are destitute.

Advice on assessments by social workers

Help to review or challenge assessments.

Advice on charging for health or social care services, hospital discharge and carers' rights.

Advice on your rights if a service provided to you is to be ended or re-organised.

In appropriate cases we may be able to provide legal representation to bring cases before the courts including High Court.

Our community-care advice services are also available to clients outside Birmingham. In particular we welcome clients from Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Walsall.
